Safran Strawberry Daiquiri cocktail med is og safrantråde, serveret i et glas med mintpynt.

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml hvid rom
  • 20 ml frisk limesaft
  • 15 ml simpel sirup (1:1 sukker og vand)
  • 5-6 friske jordbær (eller 30 ml jordbærpuré)
  • 10–15 saffron threads
  • Ice cubes
  • Limeskive eller jordbær til pynt

Procedure:

  1. Safran infusion: Læg safrantrådene i blød i en lille smule varmt vand (ca. 1 spsk) i 5-10 minutter, så safranen frigiver sin smag og farve.

  2. Forbered cocktailen: I en blender eller cocktailshaker tilsætter du hvid rom, limesaft, simpel sirup, de friske jordbær (eller jordbærpuré), den safran-infunderede væske og isterninger.

  3. Blend eller ryst godt: Hvis du bruger en blender, blend ingredienserne til en jævn, iset konsistens. Hvis du bruger en shaker, skal du ryste godt og derefter si cocktailen for at fjerne jordbærkerner og isstykker.

  4. Servering: Hæld cocktailen over i et afkølet coupe- eller martiniglas.
